RADIO AND TELEVISION Calgary has six local television stations, nine AM radio
stations, twelve FM radio stations and one short wave station.

The cable station covering the entire Calgary metropolitan
area is Shaw Cable. There are two Digital Satellite Providers, Star Choice and
Expressview. They provide many U.S. channels and seven Pay TV channels.

Calgary has two daily mass circulation newspapers:
The
Calgary Herald with an average daily circulation of 155,000.
The Calgary Sun with an
average daily circulation of 90,000.
